Come and Celebrate 

Saint Isidore Youth Mass

 

Weekly at 6:30 PM beginning in September

followed by our pot luck dinner. Please bring a dish.

 

What is the Youth Mass?

Saint Isidore Youth Ministry encourages young people to embark on a journey of faith and relationship with God through Jesus Christ. At our monthly Youth Mass, youth enter into authentic and full worship of God with a faith community of peers, families and adult ministers. All experience Christ's power and love through praise, prayer and breaking open the Word of God in scripture. Many young people are also actively involved in ministries at the liturgy. We all know how important music is to worship. Youth Masses meld together the beauty and sacredness of the Mass with contemporary Christian music that moves and inspires youth to praise and worship.

 

When will it start?

Beginning in September, the Youth Mass will be held on every Sunday at 6:30 PM.

 

Get Involved!
This Mass is for you. We need your input, your participation, your time, and your talent! There are many ways to get involved. Read on to find a way that best suits you!

Greeters  
Greet your friends and family as they enter the church. We like to personally welcome everyone who attends Mass and we have many doors to cover and many music booklets to hand out.

 

Lectors 
Share the good news and proclaim the Word of God. Join our talented group of Lectors who participate at each Youth Mass - to proclaim the first reading, the second reading, and the petitions.

Eucharistic Ministers
Distribute the body of Christ. Join our dedicated group of Eucharistic Ministers who participate at each Youth Mass. If you are 18 years of age and above and would like to become Eucharistic Ministers, please contact Fr. Khoa.

 

Gift Bearers
Bring forth the gifts for the celebration of the Eucharist. We need gift bearers to participate at Mass; the collection basket, the bread, and the wine are brought forward.

 

Altar Servers
Serve the Lord by serving at Mass. Join our group of servers who participate at each Mass. Three servers are needed, one to carry the cross, and two to serve and assist the Priest Presider. 

 

 

Music Ministry
Share your gift of music and help us lead the congregation in praising the Lord through song. Join this upbeat, contemporary group and help provide the wonderful music that makes our Youth Mass so unique. Our group consists of piano, acoustic and electric guitars, bass guitar, drums, percussion, and voices. If you would like to join our Youth Mass Choir, please email our Choir Director Mike Nungesser. Thank you!

 

How can I be involved?

You can be involved in two different ways. First, everyone who wants to experience the Mass with a focus on the youth can come and worship with us.  The more the better!

Second, if you are a musician and feel called to worship God by playing an instrument and helping lead our worship, complete this Youth_Mass_Ministry_Sign_Up Form and return to the Parish Center or
